ABOUT JAMES VANDERMEULEN
I am a Junior Industrial Engineering student at Clemson University with a computing and AI focus, passionate about leadership, operations, and people-driven impact. I bring hands-on experience leading large teams in fast-paced environments, from serving as a Head Counselor for retreats with 800+ students to managing high-volume operations in customer-facing roles. Through roles in camp leadership and service operations, I’ve developed strong skills in communication, problem-solving, and teamwork under pressure. I enjoy working in environments that require adaptability, efficiency, and collaboration, and I’m especially interested in how data, systems, and technology can improve real-world processes. Right now I am seeking entry work experience in consulting, project-management, operations, and leadership development where I can continue to grow in knowledge and impact the development of others.
