As producer and co-founder of Italus Films, a US-Italy joint venture, I am responsible for all aspects of creating content for all forms of distribution, from development, preproduction, production, post production, delivery and release. I work closely with our development team and screenplay writers, on budgeting and cost analysis, fundraising, casting, crew hiring, logistics, marketing, social media and release and distribution sales (film festivals, digital platforms, etc.). We have teams in Milan, Italy and in Los Angeles whose collective goal it is to tell stories that appeal to global audiences. It is also the goal of Italus Films to partner with other emerging companies to share ideas and create content that is not only affordable and marketable, but also to tap into stories about and told by underrepresented voices.
