About James Tobia
Good day to you friend. My name is James Kingsley Robert Tobia. For the majority of my life thus far I have been a touring golf professional and world tour instructor operating lessons across continents. I\'ve had the pleasure of utilising my skill set in golf business, as a player and most interestingly as an all/round athlete development instructor on the LET/LPGA/ALPS/JAMEGA/EUROPRO Tours helping multiple athletes to success including an Olympic Record with Maria Verchenova of Russia in the 2016 Games in Rio, Brazil. We trained diligently for over a year and half leading up to the games and on the Sunday final round we had a 62 -9 score with an ace on a par 3! Now based in The United States of America, and after five years as the lead instructor at Chatham Hills Country Club, I am the Senior Teaching Professional at a global market leading facility powered by Trackman in downtown Indianapolis with its HQ in New York City, hired to create a strong team of teaching professionals that provide the city with market leading instruction on the door steps of the cities residents. To develop a business within the walls of the city that opens up the market not just to urban golf for the masses, but tour level instruction that inspires future generations. The company is soon to be opening new facilities in the UAE, Dubai/London, UK. I have a background in the medical field too, always striving to develop my knowledge and expertise. With a fascination for everything Orthopaedics and pre-hospital medicine I aspire to not just continue my golf career but become a PA/MD O.R Surgical Surgeons Assist within the next decade. I am already a fully qualified United States Air Force Aerospace Medical Evacuation Professional soon to be operating on the C17 Globe Master Aircraft whilst currently in Med School at IU School of Medicine. Alongside other passions I always have a hunger for pushing my professional skills to new boundaries. I\'ve always been an aspiring businessman having run a golf company which is back in full swing since 2022 with a factory in the Jiangsu province, China. Exciting things to come!
