PANASONIC ELECTRIC VEHICLE BATTERY FACILITYPanasonic Energy North American will open a 300-acre manufacturing facility in De Soto at Astra Enterprise Park. The facility represents the largest economic development project in Kansas’ history. The plant will make up less than 10 percent of net developable acreage on the previous Sunflower Army Ammunition Plant, but that’s still big enough for the Empire State Building to lie flat from end-to-end. EHS DutiesConduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and other regulatory standards, along with client safety policies and procedures.Develop and implement training programs on EHS policies, procedures, and best practices.Perform root cause analysis for incidents and accidents to identify underlying issues and recommend corrective actions.Collaborate with client to create a culture of safety within the organization.Maintain accurate records of safety inspections, incidents, and training sessions.Provide first aid support as needed and ensure that first aid and PPE supplies are adequately stocked.
