Dr. Tearse is a Key Opinion Leader (KOL) for Dry Eye diagnosis and Management. His focus for the last 17 years has been his search for the functional causes of dry eyes and he individualizes treatment for each patient. He provides an extensive patient evaluation and his treatments include Lipiflow, TearCare, Meibomian Gland Probing, Punctual Plugs, Amniotic Membranes and Corneal Nerve Growth Factors. In addition, Dr. Tearse performs cataract surgery, using the proper diagnostics to determine the cause of vision loss, advanced small incision cataract surgery and appropriate use of the newest intraocular lens technology. By invitation, he joined the Peninsula Eye Surgery Center, where he has performed many of his cataract surgeries.
