Facilities Department @Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA)

Manages buildings and equipment maintenance schedules, facilities systems regulatory tests and certifications, and supports the facilities team preparing for any upcoming work or project. Assists security & engineering for specific activities and projects.Develops the preventive maintenance schedules, schedules deferred maintenance and project works. Keeping track of corrective maintenance work orders and ensures timely completion. Supports the Facilities and Engineering teams in scheduling the work. Assists in sourcing, procuring, and scheduling resources to perform repairs and projects (material, equipment, contractors, etc.)Manages contracts and purchase orders, and processes invoices for the Facilities Department.Ensures that all certifications and code compliance operations are performed in a timely manner.Supports the Museum for all Health & Safety related questions, including training scheduling, equipment inspections, facilities inspections.Applies for environmental and other required permits and ensures they are up to date.Supports the team in managing workspace assignments, plans office moves, and coordinates with other departments of the Museum (IT, Facilities Maintenance, HR, etc.), while managing the inventory of Museum assets.Develop and update metrics on the different aspects of Facilities Management to provide visibility to the upper management on the efficiency of the operations.Communicate daily with vendors and updates the Museum executives regularly.Manage projects as assigned; this includes defining the scope, bidding, and overseeing the execution of the project.
