Norton Healthcare is a leader in serving adult and pediatric patients from throughout Greater Louisville, Southern Indiana, the commonwealth of Kentucky and beyond.The not-for-profit hospital and health care system is Louisville’s second largest employer, with more than 18,600 employees, over 1,750 employed medical providers and nearly total providers on its medical staff. Norton Healthcare has five Louisville-based hospitals with a total of 1,907 licensed beds. Norton West Louisville Hospital is scheduled to open in late 2024. The system also includes eight outpatient centers, 18 Norton Immediate Care Centers, eight Norton Prompt Care at Walgreens clinics and an expanded telehealth program. It provides care at more than 350 locations throughout Kentucky and Southern Indiana. The hospitals provide inpatient and outpatient general care as well as specialty care including heart, neuroscience, cancer, orthopedic, women’s and pediatric services. James L. Sublett MD is the Co-Founder and Vice Chairman of Family Allergy & Asthma (FAA) based in Louisville, Kentucky. FAA has over 100 offices throughout Arkansas,Florida,Indiana, Illinois, Kentucky, Missouri, Ohio, Pennsylvania and Tennessee including the Louisville, Lexington, Chicago, Cincinnati, Columbus, Dayton, Chicago, Indianapolis, Little Rock, Memphis, Philadelphia, and Miami metro areas. Under his leadership FAA has earned many awards: Louisville Business First Medium Size Company Business of the Year “Eagle Award,” Greater Louisville Inc. Chamber of Commerce’s INCredible Award for small business, Louisville Business First’s Fast 50 Awards (three times), and inclusion in INC fastest growing companies. He has been named by Business First’s Partners in Healthcare as a “person to watch” in the healthcare industry Dr. Sublett is a Past President (2014-15) of the American College of Allergy, Asthma & Immunology (ACAAI) He has served on the College\'s Board of Regents\' and Executive Committee. He also served as the College’s Executive Director for Advocacy and Governmental Affairs from 20••••23. He also has been honored by the College as a Distinguished Fellow and received the Gold Cane Lifetime Achievement Award in 2022. He has served on the Editorial Board of the Annals of Allergy & Immunology and as the North American Editor for the World Allergy Organization Journal. In addition, Dr. Sublett sits on several other boards, including the World Allergy Board, University of Louisville President\'s Advisory Council and the Norton Healthcare Board of Trustees. He is a Clinical Professor at the University of Louisville School of Medicine and for over 20 years served as the Section Chief of Pediatric Allergy & Immunology.He is married and has four grown children, four grandchildren and lives with his wife, Lelia, in Anchorage, KY.
