ABOUT JAMES STROUD
I started my career off in Sports Journalism in July 2017 working as a freelancer on GiveMeSport. I was given a full-time role as a UK writer in February 2018.My main role was to provide football content for the website. I also covered a variety of other sports such as golf, darts, rugby union, UFC, boxing and cricket.I was promoted to the role of Social Editor in February 2023. My responsibilities now include working closely with freelancers, commissioning stories and helping with headlines. I also create engagement posts on our social media pages.My specialties include creative writing, news, features, sub-editing, SEO and social media.I have also sporadically posted to my blog since creating it in 2012. I have primarily written about trending topics in football, my betting tips for PGA Tour events and match reports for my Sunday League team.
