Strategic & Leadership ResponsibilitiesSupport the Project Director in delivering complex projects from pre-construction through to handover.Lead multidisciplinary teams including design, commercial, planning, and construction.Act as a senior point of contact for clients, consultants, and stakeholders.Drive project strategy, ensuring alignment with business goals and client expectations.Project Management & DeliveryOversee project planning, scheduling, and execution to meet programme milestones.Ensure integration of MEP works with architectural and structural elements.Monitor progress, manage risks, and implement mitigation strategies.Lead coordination meetings and ensure timely resolution of issues.Commercial & Contractual OversightSupport procurement strategies and contract negotiations.Monitor budgets, cost plans, and financial forecasts.Manage change control processes and ensure accurate reporting.Liaise with commercial teams to ensure value engineering and cost control.Quality, Safety & ComplianceChampion health and safety across all project phases.Ensure compliance with statutory regulations, building codes, and client standards.Oversee quality assurance processes and technical audits.Support environmental and sustainability goals (e.g. BREEAM, LEED).Stakeholder & Team ManagementBuild strong relationships with clients, consultants, and delivery teams.Mentor and support project managers and engineers.Facilitate clear communication across all levels of the project.Represent the project in executive-level meetings and reporting.Commissioning & HandoverEnsure commissioning strategies are developed and executed effectively.Oversee testing, commissioning, and handover of MEP and building systems.Ensure all documentation, training, and client support is in place for operational readiness.
