My overall approach to serving Manna Inc. is through presence of care. What does that mean? There is an undeniable reality that the physical/emotional presence of a corporate chaplain in our contexts provides support and care. The chaplaincy program is strictly voluntary for all employees. My main way of serving Manna Inc. is by actively and empathetically listening. I strive as a chaplain to listen not only to the content of what is said, but the emotions behind what is said. We seek to enter people\'s world by caringly being curious about one\'s life, relationships, and emotional well being.
