I am a seasoned leader and strategic communicator with more than three decades of experience in nonprofit management, public relations, and community engagement.In October 2024, I joined National Grid as Regional External Affairs Manager covering Albany County in New York State. In this role, I cultivate vital relationships with municipal officials, business leaders, and community groups.As the former Executive Director of the Downtown Schenectady Improvement Corporation (DSIC), I spearheaded transformative projects that positioned Downtown Schenectady as a hub for commerce, recreation, and living. During my tenure, I led the expansion of DSIC\'s service area, secured substantial grant funding, and orchestrated the development of key public spaces like Jay Square. Prior to my role at DSIC, I served as the Director of Communications for the Downtown Albany Business Improvement District (BID), where I coordinated successful public relations campaigns and community promotions.My career journey also includes pivotal roles WMHT Public Media, where I cultivated strong community relationships and managed programming strategies for the Capital Region’s flagship PBS station.Let\'s connect!
