Conception and delivery of a joint venture business focused on the naval architecture and engineering of large sail and motor yachts. Within five years of start-up achieved world leading brand recognition as an authority in the field, evidenced via the launching of five yachts of over 100m with a further three under construction, including five sub 100m new build projects, three re-builds, conversion and numerous refit projects. Established and led a core technical and business leadership team with zero churn rate, to in turn lead all technical specialisations and delivery of complex projects from a team of up to 60 naval architects and engineers. Within the first five years of operation delivered over hours of revenue earning engineering and naval architecture with double digit PBD performance. Via setting of innovation strategy and market relevant R&D focus, aligned to strategic guidance of business development and marketing activities, drove the creative development of numerous market facing innovation projects to position the company as thought leaders in the field of future technologies focused on decarbonisation and the marine energy transition. Delivery of market facing innovation to a broad range of industry stakeholders and UHNWI client base to drive pipeline growth, knowledge base and brand capital.
