About James Rogan

I am currently a Management and Program Analyst at FEMA. I play an active role in the daily reports operations, creating custom reports to access and format data and deliver them to leadership. I am currently working a project to on development of new ways to deliver data visualization products to our stakeholders leveraging T-SQL and Python.My prior work experiences at FEMA have been in the Deployment Operations Section, where I worked on streamlining older processes and helped in getting people deployed to the field, and in a detail to my current section. In that detail I successfully co-developed a Power BI Dashboard to modernize and partially automate our 50-Week analysis process, using custom DAX scripts and T-SQL, and I solo-developed a power automate workflow that has reduced the average number of non-processed availability requests by hundreds. Additional work experience has been as a Summer Associate at FranklinIQ and a Teacher’s Assistant at University of Michigan for Mobile App Development and EntrepreneurshipI am a graduate with dual degrees in Economics and Computer Science from the University of Michigan. I took courses in introductory AI, Computer Security, and Mobile and Web Development as well as Game Theory, Banking and international economics.
