ABOUT JAMES ROBINSON

With over a decade of experience in the field of Computer Science education, I am passionate about shaping the future of learning. As an educator, I\'ve dedicated myself to empowering others with the knowledge and skills needed to thrive in the digital age.My journey started with a 1st class degree in Computer Science from the University of Portsmouth, followed by a PGCE from the University of Cambridge. I\'ve spent ten years in the classroom, teaching Computing, Maths, and IT, and earned recognition as a CAS Master Teacher.My transition into a broader leadership role has allowed me to impact education on a global scale. At the Raspberry Pi Foundation, I\'ve authored publications and trained hundreds of educators. I\'ve led teams and developed curriculum standards, ensuring high-quality learning experiences for learners of all ages.A commitment to research-driven practice fuels my work. I\'ve conducted research, translated pedagogical insights, and shared them with educators worldwide. I\'m an advocate for research-informed teaching, always striving to bridge the gap between academic theory and classroom practice.My leadership style is characterised by empathy and vision. I\'ve managed teams, championing both support and challenge to bring out the best in individuals.
