Responsible for the design, layout and management of the OSP networks to include aerial, underground and building entrance. Resolve any utilities, road, railroad crossings and other complex ROW issues. Work with Company\'s Management and Sales on goals to expand, identify and plan for additional commercial, MDU, ISD projects including opportunities within the Company\'s existing and expanding network. Meet or exceed business unit goals while maintaining quality standards, controlling expenses, and following company and business unit directives and practices. Maintains fiber splice records, network topography records and fiber mapping and as-built in corporate inventory systems. Works closely with other carriers, engineering firms, local/ state agencies and building owners/landlords on new building adds and re-locations.
