About James Pondillo

The majority of my engineering career has been in the fast-paced automotive sector. I’ve held several positions including Industrial Engineer, Plant Technical Manager, Engineering Manager and Director of Project Management. All of these leadership roles allowed me to collaborate cross-functionally with other business functions/positions as well as all levels of the organizations, including director level management.I am very comfortable with both project & launch phases of development. I’ve managed and executed multi-million dollar budgets and aggressive timelines while simultaneously managing a team of 25+ professional engineers and maintenance technicians. I am a strong proponent for creating a team environment that shares knowledge and experience amongst each other. I believe problem solving is done best this way. Throughout my experience, I’ve thoroughly enjoyed the process of automating solutions in both MES & WMS environments, programming PLCs (conveyance systems, automated machines, shipping systems, AGVs) & robotic applications as well as being hands-on during the construction phase of projects. I look forward to continuing to expand my knowledge in these areas of manufacturing and technology.
