About James Pham
As a Computer Information Systems student, I am driven to expand my knowledge and skills in software development. While my background includes three years in the retail industry, my true passion lies in Python programming.Through various coursework and personal projects, I\'ve discovered my coding capabilities and am eager to continue learning and growing. My time in retail has also taught me valuable skills, and I\'ve steadily progressed to the role of Assistant Manager. In this capacity, I\'ve taken on responsibilities that include store audits, financial management, inventory management, interviewing, and recruiting, all of which have honed my leadership and problem-solving abilities.In my time in class, I have completed projects involving Python code for inventory management, which has helped me develop problem-solving and analytical skills. Additionally, I\'ve crafted an SQL query to categorize real-world Abalone data based on various attributes. I have even managed to create a working personal website using HTML, Javascript, and CSS.I\'m excited about the prospect of leveraging my retail experience and technical skills to excel in software development and I hope to gain great opportunities in the near future!
