Assist anesthesiologists and Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists during patient procedures within Christus Health guidelines. Insure that any additional equipment required by anesthesia personnel is available during each surgery. Perform set up, testing and first line troubleshooting of anesthesia machines. Clean and sanitize anesthesia machines and equipment after each surgical case and prepare it for the next case. Insure that anesthesia machines and supply cabinets are stocked. Assist with moving and positioning of patients for surgical procedures. Assist RNs during transport of Intensive Care Unit patients to and from the operating rooms.
