About James Perise
With over 25 years of experience in the field of Plumbing and Fire Protection engineering, Jim is a dynamic and driven leader in the construction industry. His experience covers a diverse spectrum of construction projects including complex, large-scale, super-tall, and sustainable buildings, transportation and infrastructure facilities, educational, health care and hospitality projects. Jim leads Plumbing and Fire Protection at STV, managing staff, technical initiatives, quality and business development. As a team player and innovator, he plays a key role to the continued success of the division.Over the years, Jim has led the design on a number of signature projects including Davis Barracks at West point, Mother Clara Hale Bus Depot, MGM Citycenter, Hearst Headquarters, The Verdesian at Battery Park City, and The Goldman Sachs NY Headquarters. He has also worked on many international projects including locations in South America, Korea, and the Middle East. The majority of these projects have achieved LEED certification or have significant sustainable initiatives.Jim is a Registered Fire Protection Professional Engineer in New York, as well as NJ/PA/MD/TX/GA/WA and is a LEED Accredited Professional. He has participated in numerous technical committees including the NYC DOB Existing Building Code Technical Committee, Fire Protection Technical Committee, the ACEC Plumbing Codes and Fire Codes committees as well as a being a member of the NYC Green Building Codes Taskforce. Jim was named ACECNY\'s engineer of the year in May of \'22 in recognition of his contributions to the Engineering community as well as humanitarian contributions to the community at large.
