   I am the Subject Matter Expert and Owner of the Injection Blow Molding Platform and Tooling/Molds technologies and will have the responsibility to participate with multifunctional teams to establish and approve Engineering Standards of the IBM Platform technology regarding:• Mold Standards• Platform Standards• Process Standards• Packaging Equipment Standards• Understanding Production Standards • Vendor selection & build standards I am responsible for the development and deployment of the technical & operational strategy for the IBM platform technology. The platform strategy will address best in class equipment, production capabilities, standards for equipment and OEM vendors. Take a leadership position with the respective OEMs on the day-to-day type applications as well as innovation of new technology, equipment & developments that will support the business strategy. Will focus on building internal and external technical capabilities and a robust support network while providing direction for manufacturing footprint strategies within the Platform technology. Support long term performance of equipment in respective technology and provide input on future improvement paths and technical information. Provides leadership and vision for future equipment capabilities and improvement in current operations in safety, quality, efficiency, waste, and reliability. Analyzes & evaluates the performance and cost of new, proposed, or existing equipment. Includes evaluation of machinery, tooling, workflow, and vendors. Manage functional reports as required to ensure that their project objectives are being met and is responsible for employee selection, development, mentoring and performance management. Review plant infrastructure, layout, and equipment against project requirements. Develop and manage plans for upgrades and expansions.Strong understanding of manufacturing principals involving Overall Equipment Effectives (OEE) and familiarity with Quality Systems.
