ABOUT JAMES PARTRIDGE
I lead what I believe is one of the strongest teams at Moody’s, combining technical expertise with real-world experience to help our clients manage risk and maximize opportunity in practical, impactful ways. We don’t just talk about risk, we roll up our sleeves and work with clients to improve their existing processes with data, models and AI, so they can make smarter decisions without getting overwhelmed by noise. With a background in economics and a decade of experience developing and implementing risk solutions, I’ve had the opportunity to work with clients in all sectors across North America and Europe. My focus is on providing tools that are not only analytically rigorous but also genuinely useful because at the end of the day, the solutions have to work in the real world. I’m particularly passionate about climate risk, a field where we need to move beyond big ideas and get into the nuts and bolts of how businesses can adapt. My approach is always to meet clients where they are, bringing new elements into their existing workflows rather than making them start from scratch.
