ABOUT JAMES PALK
Recent biotechnology graduate from University of Leeds, with a Master\'s degree in Biotechnology with Enterprise, which combines biology, business, and innovation. I have a strong interest in understanding the real-world implications of immunology related diseases on day-to-day lives. As part of my degree, I worked as a researcher at The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST) for one month, where I conducted a presentation on how cholera can be treated. I have developed core competencies in reliability, team management, and biotechnology through my education and work experience.At HKUST, I collaborated with a team of researchers and professors to investigate the molecular mechanisms and epidemiology of cholera, a bacterial infection that causes severe diarrhea and dehydration. I contributed to the literature review, data analysis, and presentation of the findings, using various biotechnology tools and methods. I also learned from the diverse perspectives and experiences of my team members, who came from different backgrounds and disciplines. I am motivated by the goal of applying biotechnology to solve real-world problems and improve human health and well-being. I believe that I can bring valuable research skills, curiosity, and creativity to any organization that shares this vision.
