Reimagining what’s possible for students who’ve been overlooked by traditional systems. At WAY Michigan, I lead a virtual charter serving grades 6-12 students through project-based learning—managing operations, compliance, and human systems that help students recover credits and rediscover agency. For the past three years, I’ve served as Family Engagement Coordinator at Garfield Elementary in Wyandotte Public Schools, where I’ve built community through intentional programming and family partnerships.I’m driven by two core convictions:(1) Educational leadership is systems work—data matters, compliance matters, but people matter most.(2) Families are the leverage point. Whether it’s designing PBIS cultures, navigating Michigan special education law, or launching literacy campaigns that put books in students’ hands, I start by asking, “How does this build trust?”Pursuing my Ed.S. in Educational Administration with superintendent aspirations.
