Executive Director and Founder @Kuza Mentorship Program
I am providing strategic leadership as the executive director and founder of the Kuza Mentorship Program. Kuza is a Swahili word meaning “nurturing to fruition” and the mentorship program is an innovative scheme that trains passionate very early career Africans to be the next generation of public health research leaders to impact health policy leading to improved health outcomes in Sub-Saharan Africa. We have graduated the first cohort of seven mentees, who are now working with various institutions and have recruited a second cohort of 12 mentees.
