With over 10 years’ professional consulting experience and 28 years’ industry experience, Mr. Noblitt offers a unique blend of real-world, hands-on experience as well as a deep background in leading practices and working with clients to improve operations, reduce costs and increase profitability. Jim has worked with both large Fortune 500 enterprises and small entrepreneurial businesses serving a broad spectrum of industries including manufacturing, distribution, insurance, consumer goods, durable goods, automotive, vitamins/supplements, electronics and industrial equipment. While working in industry Jim has held senior management positions in procurement, operations management, materials management and IT management. As an industry practitioner, he has built operational departments from the ground up while minimizing costs and improving operational effectiveness and efficiency. Mr. Noblitt has been instrumental in dramatically reducing costs through maximizing indirect operations efficiency. He has also conceived and managed major reorganizations of both staff and plant layout including the startup of remote plant operations. Mr. Noblitt has also held management positions in consulting firms, both small and large, including such large firms as Ernst & Young and Grant Thornton. Throughout his career, Jim has provided value by using proven methodologies and best practices to achieve optimal performance in various areas of the organization including manufacturing, supply-chain, procurement, production control, IT, project management office (PMO) and project management. Jim has helped companies improve their operations through the use of information systems to integrate operations, reduce costs and improve performance. Mr. Noblitt has developed and managed many projects such as ERP system implementations and post-merger consolidations as well as the complete relocation of manufacturing operations.
