As Vice-President (International), I lead the Royal Society of Edinburgh’s global engagement strategy. My role focuses on fostering international research collaborations, promoting the visibility and impact of Scottish research, and building strategic partnerships with academies and institutions worldwide. I oversee the facilitation of researchers exchange programmes, support the organisation of joint international events, and champion forums for dialogue on global issues spanning science, the arts, technology, human rights and commerce. I work closely with the RSE’s International Team and collaborate with fellow office bearers to strengthen the Society’s international presence and advance its global mission.
