iQ is one of the UK’s leading providers of Purpose Built Student Accommodation. With 77 sites, we provide a home for students each year with the aim of giving each of them their “best year yet”. Following a successful period of ownership by Goldman Sachs and the Wellcome Trust, iQ was acquired by Blackstone for £4.7bn in May 2020, which at the time was the largest UK real estate transaction. Since then we have added beds through both new developments and acquisitions, including most recently the acquisition of 6 sites following the take private of GCP.
