About James Moran
I am originally from England and moved to Wisconsin over 20 years ago, where I have had a great time living between Madison and Milwaukee, and traveling around this wonderful country. Since founding the Milwaukee Soccer Development Group in 2012, my life has changed more than I could ever have imagined. My desire to promote the benefits of soccer and impact the community is currently leading me down a path of projects and events that I still find difficult to conceive that I am currently working on. I see a lot of issues in this great city surrounding diversity, segregation, health & wellness, sustainability, education, and the increasing cost of soccer. I believe that by providing places for kids to play and correctly implementing youth soccer programs that we can begin to have a positive impact on the youth in the Greater Milwaukee Area. In December 2012, the Milwaukee Soccer Development Group (MSDG) was founded. This non-profit organization creates and promotes soccer events in the Greater Milwaukee area that raise funds to provide soccer equipment to youth soccer high school and club teams in need of assistance, as well as advocating for more facilities for kids to play and exercise.The mission of the Milwaukee Soccer Development Group (MSDG) is to promote the sport of soccer in the Greater Milwaukee Area by providing opportunities and support for young people at any level to enjoy the game within the community.
