Lead a diverse team of twenty-five Scientists, Engineers, and Technicians that work together internally, and develop and maintain partnerships externally with local BR & T groups, to complete a very broad and highly dynamic statement of work. Daily management tasks include conducting in OPD meetings for 3 different lab groups, facilitating and actively participating in technical discussions that drive lab throughput, ensuring minimal discontinuity in project progress due to operational setbacks, rebalancing workloads as emergent tasks are brought to the team, and ensuring that the quality of the data produced meets or exceeds our customers’ expectations. Longer term responsibilities include monitoring staff levels and integrating new technologies and processes into our toolkits, managing the capital asset portfolio of BR & T EPSE and execute the yearly Capital Plan, partnering with the Operations team to ensure the team’s workspace remains a safe and healthy space to be, and ensuring that our local and global platforms are receiving the test support needed to confidently deliver aircraft.
