Manage the Industrial Hygiene programs for all of ConocoPhillips Alaska, including the North Slope facilities at Kuparuk and Alpine, and the Cook Inlet facilities at Anchorage, Kenai LNG plant, Beluga Gas Field, and Tyonek Oil Platform. Provide support to each of the Business Unit management teams for delivery of Industrial Hygiene services including identification, evaluation, and mitigation of chemicals, physical, and biological agents used, stored, or otherwise present in the workplace. Evaluate employee exposure potentials by work place assessments and quantitative measurements. Maintain industrial hygiene survey records, notifications of personal monitoring results, and equipment calibration logs.Recommend and implement controls and re-evaluate post implementation. Coordinate and provide hazard-specific training for personnel working with hazardous materials within the Operations, Emergency Response, and Materials organizations. Review health hazards of products and chemicals prior to use and provide recommendations for PPE.Coordinate and complete reporting of SARA and TSCA information to the EPA, and review chemicals for Homeland Security and FIFRA requirements. Participate in emergency response as part of the HSE Incident Command and develop initial emergency response guides.Provide Support to the Medical Clinic on worker health, including hearing conservation, bloodborne pathogens, respiratory protection, and fit for duty programs.
