Summary of the Role’s Main Purpose Successfully manage the Slough Trading Estate Business Watch scheme, reduce the incidents of crime on the Estate, and promote the Slough Trading Estate as a safe working environment. • To manage the SEGRO CCTV control room. • To provide security advice to members of Business Watch, attract and retain members to Business Watch and maintain good relations with all stakeholders most notably Thames Valley Police • To Provide Security Consultancy services to SEGROPrincipal Accountabilities • To manage the Slough Trading Estate Business Watch Operations Centre and SEGRO CCTV control room, to include managing the company accounts, business development and procurement.• To manage contract staff providing CCTV monitoring services and mobile security patrols on behalf of Business Watch /SEGRO • To provide security prevention advice to Business Watch members and to SEGRO. • To ensure Business Watch plays an active and significant role in working to reduce crime on and near the Slough Trading Estate and other SEGRO holdings • To work with all stakeholders including Business Watch members, SEGRO, Thames Valley and other Police forces, and Slough Borough Council to improve security through mutual support • To provide support and prevention advice to any Business Watch member suffering crime • To initiate crime prevention initiatives for the benefit of Business Watch members • To regularly provide crime prevention information to Business Watch members Key Achievements:• Project managed move from outdated CCTV control room to new + BW Operations Centre• Created Website to promote BW Services and link to other agencies for crime prevention & security awareness.• Improved member services and benefits.• Reduced crime on the Slough Trading Estate by 60% • Increased membership of the BW scheme by 42%• Increased revenue by 100% through business development
