Designed, implemented and deployed a centralized and secure secrets management and exchange system in AWS using Lambda, Secrets Manager and EventBridge, removing the need for error-prone and costly manual secrets configuration by our DevOps engineers across a host of different environments and services, and increasing our security posture through automatic secrets rotation.• Led the design, architecture, and development of a full serverless re-implementation of WMC’s core Python-based media tracking service using services such as Lambda, NLB/ALB and ElastiCache.• Helped implement WMC’s core media processing service as a serverless, AWS Step Functions-based processing system, eliminating the need for several expensive ECS clusters and RDS instances in the legacy system and paving the way for WMC to achieve FedRAMP compliance in mid-2023.• Designed and implemented a virus scanning system using AWS Fargate and ClamAV, and integrated it into Workday’s media processing system, as part of the team’s FedRAMP compliance push.• Led the team effort to rewrite my team’s large suite of legacy CI jobs in Workday’s new standard Jenkins CI system under significant time constraints, documenting my findings and sharing them with the team to successfully divide the work between myself and the rest of the team members.
