About James Maier
I have worked at the Greenfield Public Library in the Circulation Services department since 2012. I organize items numerically and alphabetically on carts in the sorting room, place items on shelves and keep the shelves neat and orderly. I process items that patrons request from other libraries and pull items for special requests and perform other duties, as assigned by my supervisor. Currently, I work 5 days each week at the library. I worked at Milwaukee Public Schools in the Therapeutic Recreation program as a group leader from 2004 to 2020. I worked with children and adults who have physical, cognitive, emotional, and speech disabilities. The skills I have selected for my profile include organizational and writing skills, special education, patience, microsoft office, and customer service. I believe that my bachelor\'s degree from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee in addition to the work experience above exhibits that I possess and have used these skills. My selected accomplishment include graduating with cum laude honors from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. I hope to use the knowledge and skills that I have acquired through my education and experiences to advance my career endeavors in the future.
