ABOUT JAMES MACLACHLAN
I have had the privilege of crafting visual effects and design in a career spanning 19 years. I\'ve enjoyed pushing pixels around for studios in New Zealand, Australia and the United Kingdom. I now reside in London, UK.Over these years I have completed high end VFX on TV Commercials, TV Series effects and design, Channel Idents, Feature Films, Music Videos, Virals and Interactive Online Video projects. I have done so with top brands, directors, agencies and artists, consistently delivering challenging global campaigns to the highest standards.I have recently worked at leading VFX studios The Mill and Glassworks.With a wealth of VFX knowledge, I like to lead projects as a Pre-production Supervisor, Shoot Supervisor, Autodesk Flame, Foundry Nuke and Adobe After Effects Artist. I love to design projects from the very inception. I often find myself crafting pitch boards, helping directors and agencies concept projects, and figuring out how to achieve artistically challenging imagery, both for clients and my own personal curiosity.Occasionally, I find myself giving talks about my career and the projects I\'ve done.I have also been lucky enough to be trusted with Directing roles on a few occasions.
