25 years of IT professional experience working and adapting to a variety of industries: Fintech (Banking & FX/Payments), Telco, Defence, Non-for-profit, Insurance, and technology consultancy.My biggest accomplishment to date was to design an entirely new fintech bank (Atom Bank), one of the most innovative Fintechs in the UK. As the chief architect I led design for all components required to move from a legacy architecture to a new modern architecture. I worked with third parties to develop or enhance platforms for the design and delivery, highlights include:Design for a cutting edge core banking platform (Thought Machine) Fraud & AML integrations (TruNarrative)Payments integrations (In-house design, and part aggregator/bottomline)Data mesh (custom and Confluent)Product management (In-house design and engineered)Party data management (In-house design & engineered)All designed with modern patterns developed by me and my small talented team.
