I was part of a program that allows high school students the opportunity to be part of a department while still attending school. Since I have joined the department, I have taken classes through NWTC to receive the proper training. I had well-rounded training that focused on how to save other people’s lives and mine as well. This is a volunteer department and I have had the experience of going on calls and driving apparatuses.
