ABOUT JAMES HILL
I am leveraging over 40 years professional experience uniquely blending engineering, geospatial analysis and military intelligence to solve challenging problems with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Engineer Research and Development Center (ERDC). I now serve as a research engineer to align, promote and market the linkage and alignment of ERDC\'s unique and robust S&T capabilities with specific military requirements. I help represent ERDC equities within the Intelligence Community (IC) to clearly articulate capabilities; convey the background and rigor necessary to complete innovative and concise engineering studies; and provide the proper interpretation of analyses and results to senior government decision makers. Prior to my current position with the U.S. Army, I served as the Director of the Geospatial Intelligence Division at the Marine Corps Intelligence Activity (MCIA) in Quantico, VA. I directed engineering and mapping studies in support of military operations in Iraq, Afghanistan, operational planning for INDOPACOM, and numerous humanitarian assistance operations.
