As a recent undergraduate student enrolled in the prestigious B.S./M.S. Accounting at SUNY Old Westbury, I am deeply passionate about accounting and finance projects and ventures. Currently in the process of obtaining my Masters of Science Degree with a Foundations of Forensic Accounting Micro Credential, and preparing to begin my journey of taking the CPA Exam. I have actively sought out chances to acquire practical experience and improve my skills during my academic career. My commitment to advancing professionaly has motivated me to take part in various opportunities that align with my core values of integrity, leadership, service, passion and continous learning.During my time at SUNY Old Westbury, I have recently been the Chief Financial Officer for Student Government Assiocation, ensuring and maitaining a system of internal controls for disbursement of funds and safegauirding of SGA\'s assets. I have also worked with Barnes & Noble’s at the Universities bookstore where I was reposible for processing sale transactions, financial aid payments and inventory counts. Addign onto my work experience, I’ve had the opportunities to actively sough leadership roles on campus serving as a Residential Assisstant, a Desk attendent, a Safety Aid for the University Police Department, a Peer Mentor for CSTEP (Collegiate Science and Technology Entry Program, serving to assist prospective candidates and incoming freshman’s into transitioning in their career fields and starting the Men’s Varsity Volleyball Team. While maintaining a 3.85 GPA, I have been inducted into the Omicron Delta Kappa Honors Society. I have been awarded the Upsilon MU Alumni Foundation Scholarship, the Dean’s Leadership Achievement Student Leader Award, the CSTEP Outstanding Senior Award, and various other certificates. My passion for public speaking has provided me with opportunities to speak at the SUNY Old Westbury Gala, the Multicultural Graduation Ceremony, and as the student speaker for the SUNY Old Westbury 2024 Commencement Ceremony.I am enthusiastic about collaborating with diverse teams and finding creative solutions to challenges. As a dedicated, motivated, and committed student, I aim to excel in environments that promote continuous learning, team building, and community service.I am eager to connect with like-minded professionals and explore opportunities in the fields of accounting and finance to further develop my skills and strengths.
