James started Envirowash in 2001 after he pressure washed his own home before putting it on the market and realized how much of a difference it made to the look of the home, and how satisfying the process was. A self-proclaimed \"clean freak\" and avid lover of nature and the environment, James had a goal of keeping Virginia clean and beautiful while avoiding harmful chemicals. Since then, Envirowash has grown exponentially and is a trusted name in both residential and commercial pressure washing, restoration, and coatings.James spent several years in Alaska with his family before returning to the Richmond VA area. He now splits his time between Richmond and the Rappahannock river. He and his wife Sandi have 3 children, 2 of whom joined the family business and work at Envirowash. He also has 6 grandchildren and an adorable dog.
