Also represent employers in administrative proceedings before the EEOC, the Texas Workforce Commission, and the Texas Workers\' Compensation Commission. Insurance work includes all facets of first and third party practice. First party practice includes litigating cases involving property, commercial, and automobile policies, drafting coverage opinions, coverage litigation,(including initiation of declaratory judgment actions), and providing legal guidance in claim investigation – particularly in fire and suspicious loss cases (including examinations under oath). Have provided legal representation in over 500 hurricane lawsuits, including those arising from Hurricanes Rita, Humberto, and Ike. Third party practice includes defense of constitutional tort claims, automobile and tractor trailer accidents, construction site accidents,(including those involving cranes, scaffolding, and heavy equipment), premises liability claims, and product liability cases.
