I lead the FNOL team for a major insurer client, overseeing legacy insurance investigations for all disease claims, including large loss and short-tail cases. I also manage the insurer’s disease new claims inbox, assessing policy coverage for various conditions such as NIHL, HAVS/CTS, respiratory, and asbestos-related illnesses. In addition to supervising a team of three paralegals, I handle a small caseload of files involving injuries such as WRULD, hernia, knee, back, neck, and respiratory conditions. I oversee the outsourcing of lead files to DWF and monitor claims managed by the team on the insurer client’s case management system. I am also the referral point for policy, payment and billing queries arising on the account.
