I was headhunted into this role to design, implement, and lead the Programme Delivery function for BT\'s new Division X, the innovation hub for BT in Private/Public Networks and OTT Solutions. This high-level senior leadership role is focused on the program delivery with a strong emphasis on driving growth and cultural change within the business, particularly in the context of transitioning from a telecommunications (telco) to a more technology-focused (techno) company. The role is critical in delivering innovative solutions in the form of private networks, IoT, and other technology offerings while maintaining a strong focus on customer success and collaborative partnerships.Key Responsibilities:Establishing Strong Relationships: Building and nurturing relationships with top executives (CxOs) by showcasing expertise across various industry sectors.Programme Delivery Leadership: Taking responsibility for the successful design, implementation of the programme delivery function that will deliver the complex and innovative programmes of work, with a focus on achieving growth through the implementation of 4G/5G Private Networks and aligning them with business objectives and impactful applications.Solution-Oriented Approach: Collaborating with a team of industry and solution leads who specialize in consultative solution selling, with a particular emphasis on 4G/5G Private Wireless Networks and IoT solutions.Partner Ecosystem Collaboration: Working closely with a diverse partner ecosystem to define use cases and drive the implementation of solutions within targeted industries on a global scale, with a specific emphasis on the UK market.Seamless Collaboration: Ensuring effective collaboration both internally and externally, leveraging the partner ecosystem to deliver tailored technical solutions that address specific challenges within the industries your organization serves.
