ABOUT JAMES GUBBINS
I am an Imperial College graduate in biochemistry with an MRes in cancer biology and a PhD in nanomedicine, engineering theranostic liposomes for cancer imaging and therapy. I am a keen scientist with diverse practical research experience ranging from molecular and cell biology to colloid chemistry and oncology. Despite developing a number of nanomedicines independently, I relish collaborations on innovative projects with likeminded scientists to further cutting edge research. My decisions have taken me through a number of fields of work and research over 3 continents, pushing me to learn and adapt quickly to overcome challenges within and outside my fields of expertise. I easily built solid relationships with my colleagues, understanding a wealth of perspectives, to develop professional and personal support networks nurturing positive work dynamics.
