ABOUT JAMES GREENLEE
I\'ve been an artist since birth. I started like most children, drawing with crayons on the floor and progressed as time went on. Unlike many children however, I never stopped drawing. It’s a dream that’s pursued by a lifetime of achievement and doesn\'t end at 5 o\' clock. By high school, I was making community murals and teaching classes on painting to the young and young at heart. This passion carried me through my education at the University of Science and Arts of Oklahoma. I learned fast that there were many different mediums of art and how they can be used to communicate ideas. I studied drawing, painting, photography, graphic design, sculpture, silk screening, lithography, and art history. I also learned the most important lesson for an artist. Stay curious, keep learning, and do not be afraid to make a mistake. You can always start over and chances are it will end up better then the original.I’ve spent my career working in the automotive industry perfecting my abilities in design. My responsibilities have included designing magazine ads, logos, t-shirts, brochures, and other marketing materials such as product photography, and video training. I also make pre-cut digital window tint and paint protection templates for vehicles. In the evenings I moonlight as an Illustrator and have been recognized my OVAC, Tulsa United Way, and most recently by TYPROS, where I share a art installation in the Tulsa International Airport.Skills: Adobe PhotoShop, Adobe InDesign, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Lightroom, Product Development, Digital Marketing, Photography, Fine Art, Branding, Procreate.
