ABOUT JAMES GEIGER
I enjoy strategic project planning and forming collaborative teams to solve difficult problems. Recently, these interests have lead me to Perkin Elmer where I function as a Field Application Scientist. Here, I support customer research in a variety of fields including protein/nucleic acid quantitation and gene therapy (AAV). We offer this support through the LabChip GXII touch instrument. More technically, I am a protein biochemist and structural biologist with 5 years of experience in protein engineering, PCR (genetic engineering), Protein expression (bacterial/insect), HPLC (IMAC/SEC), and X-ray crystallography. I have exposure to Fluorescence Microscopy, Cell-Signalling Assays, Radio-Ligand-Binding Assays, and Molecular Dynamics Simulations
