HR Graduate @Kier Group

I started on Kier Group’s 3-year HR Graduate Scheme in September 2022. During the programme, I will spend 9 months rotating around the teams within the HR Shared Service Centre, 12 months within a Group HR Centre of Excellence, and 18 months in an operational HR role within one of Kier Group’s business units. Within the HR Shared Service Centre, I will complete rotations in Onboarding & Core Admin, HR Advisors & Transitions, Reward & Payroll, Reporting & Insights, HR Systems, and HR Project Management. This exposure will enable me to develop a strong understanding of the employee lifecycle and key HR support functions. In June 2023, I will be moving into the Talent and Organisational Development Team to complete a 12-month rotation. In June 2024, for the final rotation of the programme, I will spend 18 months in an operational HR role within one of the group’s business units.
