ABOUT JAMES FLOYD
Licensed Physical Therapist and graduate of Charleston Southern University’s DPT program, class of 2024, with a strong foundation in leadership, research, and evidence-based practice. I currently work in outpatient orthopedics and I am pursuing advanced clinical development through an Orthopedic Residency, with the goal of becoming an Orthopedic Clinical Specialist (OCS). I have also completed my Level 1 Dry Needling Certification, expanding my ability to treat musculoskeletal impairments.I served as Vice President of the CSU DPT Student Association and was inducted into the Delta Phi Tau National Physical Therapy Student Honor Society by ACAPT. My Capstone project focused on the immediate effects of dry needling on gluteus medius performance, reflecting my dedication to clinical research.With a B.S. in Biology and a DPT, I’m passionate about optimizing patient outcomes, contributing to my community, and continually advancing my clinical skills.
