Having begun in an audit role at HSBC, moving up to the role of Deputy Head of internal audit in France with responsibilities for overseeing activities in continental Europe, I decided to move to the headquarters of AXA Group to look after audit operations. The role expanded as the operations refelected the maturing function, and I also manage some coordinated thematic audit work to covers a few strategic topics each year.I was then given the opportunity to re-add a more operational audit aspect,looking after the global IT audit practice.
