Part of a team of biologists, engineers and other professionals responsible for the protection, restoration and enhancement of wetland and associated habitats in the Mid-Atlantic region, specifically in New Jersey and Pennsylvania. Initiate, coordinate, and deliver public and private wetland conservation projects and other conservation activities in New Jersey and Pennsylvania. Develop relationships with appropriate public and private landowners and agencies that have current or future potential to establish partnerships with DU to restore and enhance wetlands. Coordinate with landowners, DU engineering staff, contractors, and permitting agencies to ensure timely and on-budget delivery of projects. Manage program budgets, negotiate project agreements, field monitoring, and entries related to project tracking through DU’s business information system. Write and submit proposals to various funding agencies, foundations, and other funding sources to secure project funds and administrate these funds. Promote DU’s accomplishments and needs to key DU volunteers and major donors.
