Experienced, knowledgeable, and adaptable technologist working to implement and evangelize secure, resilient, and flexible cloud and hybrid-cloud solutions.I work at Red Hat, the world’s leading provider of open source software solutions, including the only fully open technology stack, from operating system to middleware, storage to cloud and virtualization solutions. My current focus is on cloud enablement, especially container management and automation. However, I bring 18 years of working knowledge with me, having experience with traditional bare metal client/server architectures, driving adoption of virtualization technologies, and implementing geo-distributed platform services. I\'ve seen technologies shift and evolve to drive better efficiencies, resiliency, and release velocity, but at the end of the day if there isn\'t a vision and a plan for the migration and evolution then even the best technology will fail.Ultimately, a good friend and former manager of mine put it best when he said,\"my career goal is to work on cool stuff with cool people.\" I couldn\'t argue with it then, and I still think it\'s solid advice. I find it more realistic than the adage,\"do what you love and you\'ll never work a day in your life.\" Let\'s be honest, I love to play guitar and mix live music, but I don\'t necessarily want to make a career out of it.
